Award Winning Owls!

We are proud to announce that we were recently awarded won Social Enterprise of 2018 at the Chamber Bridlington & Yorkshire Coast Business Awards, which was held at The Spa, Bridlington on the 19th October 2018. 
 
The Chamber Bridlington & Yorkshire Business Awards is a renowned event that has been running for over ten years, giving local businesses the chance to be recognised for their achievements. 
 
The Social Enterprise of 2018 award recognised how well Dove House Hospice had diversified in setting up Little Owls Nursery and congratulated us on our innovation and for making a positive impact in the local community. Well done to the Little Owls team and everyone involved in helping achieve this prestigious award!

New Term at Little Owls

The toddlers have had a busy week developing their mathematical skills with a variety of activities . We have sang number rhymes , completed number jigsaws and explored numbers and shapes in different types of media. 
 
The pre school children enjoyed going on an autumn walk. We had lots of fun exploring the grounds and found lots of interesting things such as leaves and pine cones. To extend the children's interest in autumn we will be using the resources we found to provide the children with lots of fun activities over the next few weeks..
