The Nursery Day

Your child’s day at Little Owls is full of learning, play, discovery and fun. We plan the day carefully so your child feels safe, confident and happy from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home.
We balance calm routines with exciting activities, always shaped around your child’s age, interests and needs. Every child is encouraged to explore, try new things, make friends and build the skills they need for the future.

How We Shape the Day

Everything we do is designed to help your child:
Feel valued and welcome
Build warm relationships with trusted adults
Enjoy group experiences and shared play
Learn through meaningful activities
Develop at their own pace
We make sure that your child has time to rest, relax and feel calm when they need it. Indoor and outdoor play are both important, so children spend time outside every day.

Skills to get ready for school
Pre-schoolers take part in exciting activities that help prepare them for Reception, while still learning through play.

Outdoor Play Every Day

Outdoor play is a big part of nursery life. It helps your child develop:
Physical skills
Confidence and courage
A love for nature
Social and communication skills
Curiosity about the world
Each nursery has three dedicated outdoor play areas, offering different experiences for active play, calm time and nature exploration.

Care and Education Working Together

We see care and learning as equally important. Your child can only learn well when they feel safe, loved and understood. Our routines are designed to give your child comfort, security and plenty of opportunities to grow through play.
